The book on the cover of this last issue of 2019, Breaking Up with Busy, while written especially for over-scheduled women, really applies to both genders; especially in the US. I would imagine it strikes home for people worldwide. The more that electronics and technology have advanced, the more we have been able to cram into each day, and more is being expected of us. As a society, we have lost the ability to slow down, and “smell the roses.” This book offers practical solutions to this issue and the author takes us through simple step by step processes. If you are ready to stop overbooking yourself and break the busyness habit, this book is for you.
At a time in our history when mindfulness is most needed, it seems we have strayed the farthest from it. This holiday season, consider what’s really important, focus on that, and let the rest go. In my experience, your stress level will drop and everyone around you will be calmer and they become calmer too.
Throughout this issue, you’ll find numerous wonderful holiday offerings; books, natural health products and services, music and so much more. Be sure to check out pages: 19, 25, 26, 33, 36 and 37 in particular. In the online magazine, there is a beautiful online article about a new Lunar Diary for 2019. Also in this issue, is an announcement from me about Truly Alive’s expansion to the El Paso, Las Cruces, T or C and surrounding areas. Be sure to check it out on page 30, and pass on the information to anyone who might be interested in being represented in this new region.
Have a happy, healthy, safe and joyous holiday season!
