. . . from the Publisher
By Karen Larré
We are happy to be back in print again. The May/June issue was online only: https://trulyalive.net/truly-alive-magazine-may-june-2020-edition/. What a time it was, and how wonderful for our community to be coming back to life!
The book on the cover of this issue is truly fascinating. The Remembering Process takes the creation process to a new level – easily past our normal layers of resistance. By going into the future in our minds, we “see” that whatever we are working towards has already manifested. It’s already there in the future and we can bring back details about the project into the present. It puts the focus on having fun rather than striving or struggling through until we reach our goal. Learn more about it in the feature, starting on page 16.
2020 is a banner year for Truly Alive, as we continue to celebrate 30 years as New Mexico’s premier holistic magazine and resource guide – 20 years in print and 8 years as an online publication. Loyal readers (such as yourself) visit our racks (about 300 locations) each time a new issue comes out and reports continue to come in about advertisers getting calls (sometimes years after certain articles or ads have run). Over the years, I have heard from numerous readers that they keep copies of Truly Alive on their bookshelves and refer back to them when they are ready for a particular service or product. If you know someone whose business could benefit from reaching out to my readers, please encourage them to contact me. There has never been a better time for new advertisers to save with Truly Alive!
We are truly blessed to be a business that has made it through the past few months and are still here. Thank you to the Truly Alive team. I so appreciate your hanging in there and doing such a great job during this time. Hopefully, we have been through the worst of it and will be continuing to return to life (however differently and in some ways better than ever before – the environment certainly is celebrating)!
I am grateful to be moving forward with the magazine and life. A big thank you to our readers and advertisers for keeping Truly Alive, Truly Alive! Many blessings for a safe and happy rest of your summer!
