. . . from the Publisher

Happy New Year, readers! I hope your holidays were safe and joyous, and that you are ready to start the New Year with great anticipation! Please enjoy the feature about the book on the cover of this issue, The Rise. This author’s journey, (a fitness trainer now and prior to her “rise”), took her through serious challenges many of us have faced (the loss of a child during childbirth, divorce, near-bankruptcy and more). Her story of triumph, her “rise” through it all, is truly inspiring. I found the book well written, inspiring and compelling.
I am excited to feature Suzanne Somers again, and her newest book, Tox-Sick on the cover and feature pages of the March/April issue (both the central New Mexico edition, in print for 29 years AND the new El Paso/Las Cruces bi-lingual edition launching 3/1/19)!
The new Desert Southwest edition will be distributed throughout the desert Southwest, primarily in El Paso and Las Cruces, but also in T or C, Alamogordo and Ruidoso, and possibly Deming and Silver City as well. Central NM editions have been distributed in El Paso and Las Cruces for several months now, with about 100 pickup locations already established and being refilled…and they are going very well! With business cards attached to every cover that say, “Truly Alive Bi-lingual edition coming to El Paso and Las Cruces 3/1/19”, people in those communities are getting excited, reading the central NM publication and even patronizing a few advertisers in the central NM edition.
Distribution for the central New Mexico edition has expanded too, with pickup locations now in Taos, with Socorro coming in 2019.
It’s an exciting time of expansion for Truly Alive and all of its readers and advertisers.
Many blessings to you all. May 2019 be your most amazing year ever!
