Around the time of the holidays, I attended a seminar in Las Vegas, NV. On this trip, I learned an interesting fact Las Vegas. Did you know that lighting up the Luxor pyramid’s shining light costs roughly around $51 an hour? That comes out to $15,300 a month!
The real shocker awaited me in the seminar. There before my very eyes, was the Pulse Electromagnetic Field System, also known at PEMF. This system is like no other. We know our bodies are made up of cells. Imagine a cell in your body as a fresh grape; healthy, vibrant, and alive. Now imagine that same cell as a raisin, once the vibrant grape, drained and dry of all its vitality. This illustration is similar to what happens as our cells no longer receive vital water, minerals, and nutrients. Having healthy cells is not a passive process. It’s imperative that we remember that an active, regular tuning up of our cells is not only feasible, but necessary to slow aging and reduce the risk of cell dysfunction.
We are, after all, only as healthy as our cells. Imperceptible cell dysfunction––the breakdown of your cells is not perceivable. You cannot tell when it’s happening. If not corrected, imperceptible cell dysfunction can lead to inflammation and disease. With electromagnetic therapy, we can revitalize cells. Fine tuning only takes a few minutes with the Pulse PEMF system. By using electromagnetic fields alone or along with other therapies, cells can rebalance, and it can help terminate the dysfunction faster. Electromagnetic therapy is safer and more effective than conventional forms of treatment. The bio-compatible electromagnetic pulses not only recharge the cells, they also penetrate the cell walls and cause them to contract. Exercising cells this way speeds up healthy circulation of nutrients and expansion of toxins, allowing the body to rejuvenate. Electromagnetic therapy has been successful at alleviating pain and reducing inflammation, stimulate tissue healing and strengthen bones in addition to providing relief for injury and fatigue. In other cases, it supported neurotransmitter balance, reduced stress and attributed to deeper and a more restorative state of sleep. Imagine all this from electricity!
This was not just some sales pitch after I found myself laying on a foam mattress with a set of healing paddles. My shoulder was hurting from hauling my carry-on luggage around two airports and forced up against the window of the plane for an hour. I was amazed at how wonderful this therapy was and what a valuable asset it would be for our office and our patients. Don’t just take my word for it. Dr. Mehmet Oz, a professor of surgery at Columbia University and Emmy Award winning television show host said, “I believe it is most important to understand the beneficial effects of this energy as well. Ultimately these avenues can help us better understand the mechanisms of action of electromagnetic fields, which in turn, can be put to good use both in the field of health and in the field of exposure guidelines.”
Electromagnetic therapy has been around for decades and has been used to heal bone fractures, treat psychological disorders (such as depression), reduce swelling and pain, promote blood circulation, and stimulate the immune system. In fact, NASA has been testing the effects of it for bone loss and muscular degeneration encountered by astronauts on long space missions. Brilliant scientists (such as Nikola Tesla) have demonstrated the benefits of applying electromagnetic fields. Tesla’s research, in fact, evolved into what we know as pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF). Used worldwide for decades, its effectiveness in delivering pulses (in a billionth-of-a-second) supports innate healing functions to keep you well.
