Pain: the physical suffering or discomfort caused by illness or injury. It is something more than 20% of Americans deal with daily. It can often cause feelings of helplessness, anger, and depression; ultimately leading to difficulties completing daily tasks or achieving personal goals. Pain is never a choice, but how one manages it is. Neuromuscular Re-Education Therapy (NMT) is the answer most are looking for, but some don’t realize exists.
NMT utilizes many different tools in order to provide pain relief. Some of the tools include: soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release, kinesio taping, and trigger point therapy. Additionally, the treatment will include tips to remain pain free. The science of exercise and movement can be effective to eliminate pain through the combined approach of nutrition and body kinetics. This will provide an experience that will allow pain to be managed in a whole new way.
NMT can be used to treat and provide relief for a wide variety of conditions. Some of the more common reasons for NMT treatments include: car accident trauma, joint pain, fibromyalgia, sciatica, fatigue, trouble sleeping, headaches, muscular discomfort, inflammation, TMJ issues, nerve damage, tendonitis, whiplash, sports injuries, overexertion, arthritis, ALS, MS, Parkinson’s disease and many other chronic conditions.
