So often, people do healing work (sometimes a lot of it, and for a long time) without having the experience of healing they are seeking.
The issue as I see it (and the greatest reward of my work) is in helping clients make the connection between our emotions, our energetic systems and our health and well-being. Doing the work on the physical level (healthy eating, exercise, clean water, herbs, supplements, etc.) is important. But it’s not the whole picture and often fails to provide complete healing. Understanding the connection between our thoughts and emotions, our energetic system (chakras) and our physical bodies is where deep healing begins.
When my clients learn about the chakra system, they see the connections between the affected part of their chakra system and their physical, mental, emotional or spiritual issue(s). Chakras are like a map; helping us to understand the context and starts to unwind. It’s like a light bulb goes on. Often, an original experience is being re-stimulated, providing an opportunity for healing. When a deep issue is healed at its core, similar situations in the future do not trigger the same unhealed response; there is nothing left to trigger.
Emotions such as anger, hate, jealousy, etc., vibrate at frequencies that harm the body and stimulate feeling bad. Love, compassion, joy, etc., vibrate at frequencies that heal and encourage feeling good. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t ever feel negative emotions; rather that prolonged negative emotions take a toll (sometimes serious) on our bodies and well-being.
One client (who worked in the healing arts) was in a dying process and didn’t want to leave his body yet. I worked with him to remember the connection between his emotions, buried trauma, his energy systems and physical illness. After several sessions with me and other healers, he recovered and is living a full life.
Clients really feel empowered when they realize they have “choices” in how they react and respond. It’s in seeing things differently (new perspective) which allows us to react differently that true healing occurs. My greatest joy comes when a client “sees” the connection between their emotions and the effect they are having and having the courage to choose a different perspective.
