Depending on which information you are looking at in your research, the most common information says that at least 70% of our immune system is connected to our colon (some estimates are as high as 90%). This makes sense, as our intestinal tracts are the largest immune organs in our bodies.
The newest data shows that stress is the precursor to many health issues and dis-eases. When we’re stressed, the immune system’s ability to fight off illness is reduced. That is why we are more susceptible to infections. And this year of 2020 has certainly been packed with stress triggers…lockdowns, job loss, businesses closings, protests, fires, domestic violence, cabin fever, quarantine weight gain, no funerals, weddings or graduations and more.
Before the unique stressors of year, the facts about the Standard American Diet (SAD) were mounting. The U.S. adult obesity rate (according to the CDC) stands at 42.4 percent, the first time the national rate has passed the 40 percent mark, and further evidence of the country’s obesity crisis. The national adult obesity rate has increased by 26 percent since 2008. Clearly, overall, Americans are missing the mark in eating healthily and maintaining healthy lifestyles.
Air and water quality issues are also of concern. With additives in our food, pesticides on our crops, pollution all around us and stress at all-time highs, many might say we live in a toxic age. All that toxic buildup takes its toll on the colon which affects digestion and overall health (sometimes seriously). When your colon is backed up with toxic material, your entire body becomes sluggish and unable to perform properly.
Never has it been more important to have the best working immune system possible. With such a high percentage of our immune system’s working quality connected to our colons, the best way to boost our immune systems is to clean them and keep them clean!
Colonics can boost your immune system by helping the body get rid of toxins, creating a healthy environment where friendly bacteria can grow, and enhancing the absorption of vitamins and minerals. It can help increase energy and promote clearer thinking, improve concentration, create a feeling of lightness and overall well-being.
So, what’s it like to have a colonic? It is a controlled method of cleansing the colon using a gentle, gravity fed flow of water, infused gently into the colon by a sterilized, disposable rectal nozzle. The compacted waste that has accumulated in the colon over weeks, months or years of toxic exposure is softened and loosened, resulting in evacuation through natural peristalsis.
Bill Haggard is known as “The Colon Whisperer” as his results as a colon therapist well known. Word of the quality of Bill’s treatments is far reaching…with clients sometimes traveling long distances to work with him. Bill says, “The water we use is extremely restorative and your body will sing with relief. Nobody likes the thought of having a colonic or feeling bad during a treatment, but once the toxins leave your body, you will instantly feel better. And then, you will begin to realize how much energy your body had to expend to keep those toxins buried.”
