The book on the cover of this issue, The Healing Gift of Gratitude is one of my favorites. I have been doing the daily gratitude practice that author Shannon Elhart offers for about a month and it’s having a lovely impact on my life already! There are many gratitude books and journals out there, and if you purchase and use this one, I think you’ll agree that it’s different, in very impactful ways.
In January 2018 the Truly Alive website went down as a result of being hacked. Our web host reported that 240,000 spam emails went out from our webmail and they shut us down. In order to get back up as soon as possible (with my most amazing IT Professional’s help – Peter Trinh, an article writing advertiser for the past few years), we moved our account to another provider and recreated our site. Thanks to Peter and Mary Anne Weaver (my wonderful webmaster since 2012), the Truly Alive website went back up in January. It is with deep gratitude to Peter and Mary Anne (who has worked on the website since 2012 – the first year Truly Alive Magazine was online), that our site is more beautiful and even more user friendly than before. The PDF archives are all up as well as all of the buttons/pages we had before. It will take some time to get all of the digital archives back up, as some of the reconstruction is manual and slow going. The March/April issue went up on 3/1/18 as usual so all is business as usual (minus the digital archives which will be up soon).
Over the years, I have heard from readers how much Truly Alive has meant to them, as well as expressions of gratitude for my work which makes it available. I’ve also heard from numerous advertisers about how much Truly Alive has helped their businesses and I am privileged to have testimonials on my website: (trulyalive.net/advertisers-are-talking). It is truly a gift to do this work; to play with people who provide natural health and spiritual products and services… natural health and spirituality are my most favorite subjects in life. I get to work with people every day who are involved in things so close to my heart! Talk about gratitude…I have it in the most heartfelt ways.
Lastly, I’ve heard lots of compliments about our new “Feel Good News” page. I am loving doing the research to see what’s going on that’s GREAT around the planet, and then choosing what I feel readers will most enjoy reading about. If you haven’t checked it out yet, please do. And as always, feel free to call me with your thoughts/comments (505-828-3430) or email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
As we move into spring, I wish for you lots of creativity, new growth, abundant joy and happiness.
